Bachelor of Psychology (Honours), Flinders University
Due to complete Master of Psychology (Health), the University of Adelaide, November 2021.

Profile Biography:

Eliza is a provisionally registered psychologist, which means she is in the final stages of her training. Prior to this she has a background in advocacy and case management roles, working with adolescents and adults in both the disability and education sector. She has also worked in research, tertiary education, and health promotion roles with the intention to build wellbeing at a larger scale. Her current research is focusing on chronic pain in young people in conjunction with the Women’s and Children’s Hospital.

Says of her role at Brain Injury SA:

“It is important for me to work collaboratively alongside clients to provide a safe place to gain greater personal insight and understanding. People with ABI are among the most resilient and dedicated I have met, I like to harness this within our sessions. I am passionate about using evidence-based interventions that can more holistically address difficult life problems, with particular interest in the mind-body connection.”
