What to Expect Next from BISA…
We will discuss the nature of your issue to determine which service you may be eligible for.
If you meet the eligibility criteria and the program has capacity to commence providing a service, you will be invited to attend an initial intake meeting. At this meeting you will have the opportunity to explain your situation and complete the required consents for us to progress your matters.
Services can be provided face to face in our office, via teleconference (Zoom or Teams) over the telephone or via email.
As there continues to be a high demand for Advocacy and Appeals Services, we need to prioritise the most urgent cases. Where we are not able to assist immediately, we will discuss alternatives such as referral to other services and options to self-advocate.
