What is Positive Behaviour Support?

PBS is a person-centred way to support improved quality of life and helping to reduce behaviours of concern. These behaviours can cause worry, stress, risk of or harm to a person or others around them. PBS makes individualised strategies that meet a person’s needs to help improve their lives. A key of PBS is to reduce or getting rid of restrictive practice.

PBS plans are made by a trained PBS practitioner.

More information on BISA’s PBS service coming soon.
