Interactive training for support workers working with people who have an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI).
This ABI training is designed to provide support workers with a better understanding of ABI and its impact on individuals. As well as provide some advice around how people with ABI can be best supported. It will be conducted in a small group to ensure it is as interactive as possible and will include a Q&A with a person with lived experience of ABI.
Topics covered: What is a Brain injury?; Common challenges after ABI and tips; Lived experience of ABI; Key principles for working with people with ABI; Brain Injury SA’s staff training services are facilitated by its group of qualified professionals who specialise in the area.

Cost: $80–$218 (+ GST)
