Springboard
Springboard is a community-based rehabilitation program funded by DCSI for adults 18–65 years of age who have an acquired brain injury. Springboard is held Monday to Friday and participants attend once or twice a week for up to three years.
Participants undertake physiotherapy, speech therapy and community learning and life skills sessions that are tailored to individual goals. The program aims to help people to increase their capacity to engage meaningfully in the community. It promotes improvement of communication, physical, and cognitive skills and encourages independence and self-confidence.
