The express Reconnect Transition Program (eRTP) – Port Lincoln
July 14, 2016 @ 10:00 am – 4:15 pm
Brain Injury SA is coming to Port Lincoln to run the eRTP.
This is a free group program for people with acquired brain injury (ABI).
Sponsored by the Motor Accident Commission, the eRTP is open to those whose ABI resulted from a motor vehicle accident or other road trauma.
Facilitated by registered psychologist Ed Weaver, the eRTP provides people with the opportunity to learn more about ABI, discuss their experiences and challenges, connect with others in the community, and put in place strategies for the future.
The eRTP includes such topics as:
Understanding the brain, Exploring the challenges of ABI, Emotional wellbeing & building resilience, Interpersonal relationships and Planning for the future & goal setting.
Information Session: External Merits Review
Following the eRTP program Brain Injury SA will hold a 1.5hr information session on the External Merits Review support component of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) as well as National Disability Advocacy Program.
