We would be delighted if you can join us to help celebrate Brain Injury Awareness Week on Monday, August 21 at the Adelaide Oval.
This is a significant week not only for people who live with an acquired brain injury and their families, but also for organisations like ours that work to support them.
As the peak body in South Australia, representing people with an ABI, their families and service providers, Brain Injury SA has planned an engaging week of activities that will educate and raise awareness about acquired brain injury and celebrate the achievements of those who are living with ABI.
We are very proud to have the Lifetime Support Authority onboard this year as our major sponsor for Brain Injury Awareness Week and we thank them for their support of the ABI community. We are also supported by our long-term supporters Andersons Solicitors.
Our launch of Brain Injury Awareness Week will kick off at 10am Monday 21st August 2017 at the John Halbert Room, Adelaide Oval where we will also be announcing the Brain Injury SA Awards for Service Excellence and Outstanding Achievement.
We have an inspiring morning planned with guest speaker Professor Jacinta Douglas, and most importantly, a panel of people with lived experience talking about their journey with acquired brain injury, facilitated by our Registered Psychologist Ed Weaver.
We would be thrilled if you could join us. Please advise your attendance to our office on 08 8217 7600, email info@braininjurysa.org.au, or register online.
We look forward to seeing you there.
