Working with ABI: Interactive Training for Support Workers – starts 5 Dec

Interactive training for support workers working with people who have an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI).

This ABI training is designed to provide support workers with a better understanding of ABI and its impact on individuals. As well as provide some advice around how people with ABI can be best supported. It will be conducted in a small group to ensure it is as interactive as possible and will include a Q&A with a person with lived experience of ABI.

• What is a Brain injury?
• Common challenges after ABI and tips
• Lived experience of ABI
• Key principles for working with people with ABI
• Brain Injury SA’s staff training services are facilitated by its group of qualified professionals who specialise in the area
